It was learned from Linwu Tourism Bureau that 1.68million visitors were received by Linwu county in 2015, contributing 1.1billion yuan comprehensive tourism income to the county, up 18.5% and 19.3% respectively.

In 2015, Linwu county relied on the construction of beautiful villages and followed the processed of “construction, application, and establishment” to improve Xiankou Villa, Shunmei Ecological Villa, and Shunji Ecological Villa to be four-star rural tourism destinations. It helped to promote rural tourism more standardly, scientifically, characteristically, and comprehensively. Donglin Shengjing and Xiyao Lvgu were established to be national 3A landscape and national forest park & Hunan provincial ecological tourism demonstration. The general planning of Dishuiyan was past the experts review and listed in Q plate for financing. The exploration of Tudi Shulou hot spring was being proceeded to final stage. Infrastructure construction for Fenshi ecological cultural tourism development was being promoted gradually. Furthermore, Linwu county played the best role of exhibitions and festivals held in Chenzhou city to promote its tourism. It took active actions to attend 2015 3rd China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Show, 6th Hunan Tourism and Leisure Expo, 8th Central China Tourism Expo & 1st Yangtze River Tourism Expo, and 2015 China International Tourism Fair. Tongtian jade is one of the key tourism products by the county that some works of the jade were awarded with golden prizes.

Furthermore, Linwu county placed more attention on the supervision and management to optimize tourism environment and promote the regulation of tourism safety. In May Day holiday, National Day holiday, and some other key holidays, it carried out the safety and order checking actions repeatedly, which fulfilled the target of “no accident” preset for the tourism industry.
