Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City required on his investigation trip for popular tourism that the spirit of Hunan tourism conference should be fully implemented to promote the development Chenzhou city’s popular tourism, improve Chenzhou city to be strong tourism city, and upgrade tourism industry to be 100-billion-yuan scale industry. 

Qu Hai visited the construction site of integrated development of Feitian Mountain and Chenzhou ancient town project of Tongyuan Group. In April, Fietian Mountain Landscape is full of spring view and its project is being promoted rapidly. Chenzhou ancient town project of Tongyuan Group gets ready.

A symposium was held afterward. Qu Hai stated that tourism industry is with sound driving and integrating power, as well as an important grasp for implementing Chenzhou Government’s plan and a highlight for Chenzhou city’s industrial transformation development during “12th five-year plan”. In “13th five-year plan”, Chenzhou city should follow the guidance of “five development concepts”, comply with the great trend of upgrading of urban and rural consumption and fast development of “mass tourism”, well use the city’s tourism resource, promote the development of popular tourism, try to establish 2 or 3 5A landscapes or national tourism resorts, upgrade tourism industry to be 100-billion-yuan industry, and improve Chenzhou to be strong city, all of which are purposely to forge Chenzhou to be new increasing pole of Hunan province.

Qu Hai emphasized that Chenzhou city should be improved to be popular tourism city on focusing the development of popular tourism. The great chances concerned for central and Hunan provincial government’s improvement of tourism industry should be well seized to handle tourism layout, landscape construction, and management, distribute the tourism resources reasonably, and promote the work with the concepts and ideas of popular tourism. The tourism industry and relative industries should be improved by focusing on key tourism projects construction. “Tourism+” should be promoted actively to improve the combination between tourism industry and new industrialization, new urbanization, informatization, agricultural modernization, and new rural construction, as well as the joint development of tourism and transportation, ecology, culture, fitness, commerce, education, industry, and exhibition, and other relative industries, and then promote the integration of first, secondary, and tertiary industry. The administration efficiency should be upgraded especially on service industry projects. In order to dock with “Pearl River Delta”, some ideas and functions should be changed to simplify the administration, upgrade the efficiency, and provide active services as green channels for approval. Special coordination teams for the projects should be set up to assist the improvement of projects that 80% work of Feitian Mountain Landscape should be finished in the end of 2016 and Chenzhou ancient town project of Tongyuan Group should be launched substantially in this June. Preparation work such as the materials should be well handled by projects owners and investors.
Qu Hai stated that all departments should play their best roles to promote the projects construction, in which tourism projects are the grasp for the stable increase. More efforts should be placed to dock with the upper level government and solve the narrow-neck problems hindered on the way of projects construction. Currently, all department should take active actions to handle the planning and adjustment, treatment of water environment of Cuijiang river basin, comprehensive treatment of Xihe river landscape belt and surrounding areas, integrated development of Gaoyiling, planning and land replacement of Chenzhou ancient town project of Tongyuan Group, and some other key work.
