It was reported that promotion conference of tourism culture industry was held recently in Chenzhou city. As proposed there, Chenzhou city would try best to improve the tourism culture industry to be a 100-billion-yuan industry in 4 years. Yi Pengfei- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee hosted the conference. Chen Xianchun- Director of Hunan Tourism Bureau attended the conference. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City deployed relative work there.

In 2015, 39.4126million visitors travelled to Chenzhou city, up 17.9%, contributing 29.235billion yuan tourism revenue, up 21.6%. Chenzhou city kept top place among other cities of Hunan province for 4 consecutive years on Hunan provincial assessment tourism industry, which enabled it to be an important pole of Hunan tourism.

Yi Pengfei pointed out that the city should try best to improve tourism culture industry to be 100-billion-yuan industry in 4 years. The ideas, actions, and measures for the improvement work should be real. Firstly, real attention should be placed on the industry as the most important point of economic development and industrial development during “13th five-year plan”, as the first choice of industrial support, and as the advantageous industry of accurate poverty alleviation. Secondly, real actions should be placed on the improvement of the industry, such as facilitating it with better infrastructure, condition, and service, introducing professional market entity to integrate rural tourism and folk culture resources, and etc. Thirdly, real and feasible measures should be handled out to promote the development of the industry, especially for the counties.

Yi stated, tourism culture industry should be truly promoted. In order to promote popular tourism, sound sanitary condition should be provided to facilitate the villages with clean environment; the key tourism sceneries, landscapes and other key points should connected together on the basis of Chenzhou ecological advantages and location condition; characteristic small towns and industrial towns should be linked with the improvement of beautiful villages to form a regional tourism products on the basis of characteristic customs, industries, and cultures; and more efforts should be paid on tiny details to improve Chenzhou city to be international famous tourism leisure resort.

Yi Pengfei stated that more breakthroughs should be reached on investment attraction and cultivation of market entities, as well as integration of the development of tourism industry, fitness industry, and regional characteristic industry, improvement of the mechanism of tourism culture development, and achievements of development profits.

Chen Xianchun said Chenzhou city is with rich tourism culture and Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee & Chenzhou Government paid great attention on the improvement of tourism industry, especially on the establishment of tourism brand- “city in the forest, leisure city” and construction of strong tourism city. Great achievements were gained on leisure tourism, ranking in advance of other cities of Hunan province.

Chen Xianchun suggested that Chenzhou should play the best role of comparable advantages and accelerate the construction of Dongjiang Lake leisure tourism resort with the breakthrough of establishment of Chenzhou-Guangzhou tourism gallery, and then improve it to be the new increasing pole of tourism; should focus on the improvement of tourism brand- “city in the forest, leisure city” to promote leisure tourism, increase investment, and tourism products; and should innovate more marketing methods to upgrade the fame of Chenzhou tourism; and should explore more drives to enhance the endogenous dynamics for transformation and innovation development of tourism industry.

Qu Hai stated that tourism industry has become an important engine of Chenzhou economy under the New Normal. More achievements were gained on the industrial development, investment attraction, infrastructure, and propaganda. Chenzhou city is with rich international level tourism resources, platforms, elements, talents and environment, so it should be improved to be an international leisure tourism city on the basis of international concepts and standards.

Qu also pointed out that more efforts should be tried on the improvement of strong tourism city; the trend of development should be well grasped to promote popular tourism and integrate the tourism industry with culture industry, new urbanization, new rural, and accurate poverty alleviation; diverse development should be kept to upgrade the quality of tourism and cultivation of new and boutique tourism products; the propaganda should be enhanced to implement overall marketing; and supporting functions should be perfected to optimize the tourism condition. Furthermore, the new advantages of the development of tourism industry should be kept being upgraded; more scientific plans should be figured out to promote the innovation of mechanism, enhance support of elements, and deepen the cooperation opening up; and more attention should be placed on the preparation of 1st Beautiful Rural Tourism Festival.
