Liu Zhiqiang, a project manager, said that the Hot Spring Well No. 2 has a depth of 3,018 meters, making it the deepest one in Hunan Province. After the project is completed, it will promote Jiahe’s “hot spring plus” industry.

 

 

The hot spring water contains rich minerals as it comes from the vein of white marble 2,500 meters below the surface. 

 

It took five years from the initial exploration to the successful water production of Well No. 1. The construction of Well No. 2 was completed on July 20 this year. 

 

The water temperature, quality, and quantity are all better than that of Well No. 1. The water temperature reaches over 55 degrees Celsius.

 

 

Since the beginning of this year, Jiahe County has centered on hot springs, and integrated cultural and tourism resources such as General Xiao Ke’s Former Residence, Jiahe Wedding Songs, selenium-rich agricultural products, specialty foods, and forest parks. Efforts have been made to polish the cultural and tourism brand of soaking in hot springs, enjoying folk songs, and tasting delicious food.

 

Yuzhong Hot Spring City has been listed as one of the top 20 iconic cultural and tourism projects in Chenzhou, with an indoor and outdoor area of 18,000 square meters.

 

A series of amusement facilities such as a drifting river, a wave pool, a rainbow slide, and a large-scale water fort have been newly built to create a theme water park suitable for parent-child activities.
