Recently, Chenzhou Municipal People’s Government promulgated a plan to construct its landmark industrial enterprises.

It is said that the threshold for landmark enterprises includes annual sales revenue of no less than 3bln Yuan and the paid annual tax of at least 100mln Yuan; holding scale advantage among its peers with the main economic and technical indexes ranking front domestically; having strong developmental superiority, technological innovation capacity, marketing and management competence; and making technological advancement the main stimulus for enterprise development. It also includes those programs to be constructed in the next few years with a total investment of 100mln Yuan or other technological programs. These enterprises should be fairly beneficial and can promote the optimization and upgrading of Chenzhou’s industrial and economic structure. They should be without major accidents of safety or environmental pollution on yearly basis, pay the employee’s pension insurance, and operate and pay the tax abiding by the law.

To build up the landmark enterprises, the new-type industrialization will divert the fund mainly into construction information of the landmark enterprises this year  And land priority will be granted according to the 34 pilot preferential policies issued by the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Hunan Provincial People’s Government concerning industrial land use. Meanwhile, these enterprises are encouraged to conduct trans-regional or trans-industrial merger and acquisition so as to expand at a lower cost. When it evolves change of title of land, houses or properties, the administrative fees at and under city level won’t be charged.

It was also revealed that the approved landmark enterprises will be granted with an honor of “Chenzhou Landmark Enterprise”.by the municipal government. For those ones with their annual revenues surpassing 3bln Yuan, 5bln Yuan, 10bln Yuan or 20bln Yuan for the first time, a one-off financial award of 300,000 Yuan, 500,000 Yuan, 1mln Yuan or 2mln Yuan will be issued respectively.
