Asia's Largest Production Base for Aluminum Alloy to Be Built in Chenzhou

On August 25, the phase I project of Hua-kang Neo-materials Limited Company of Hunan was put into operation in Jiangbei Industrial Park, Zixing City.


Liu Guangming, chairman of the CPPCC Zixing Municipal Committee, and Liping, secretary of the CPC Zixing Municipal Committee attended the opening ceremony.


The first phase of the project began in June, 2010, with a total construction area of 43,115.5 m2, and the 12 production lines were designed to produce 12,000 tons of aluminum alloy per year. The second phase of programmed land area will cover 132,121.7 m2 and is expected to be put into production by the end of 2012.


The project was designed to generate an annual output value of 1.55 billion yuan, with an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons, and create 3,000 job opportunities. It would be developed into the largest production base and R&D center of aluminum alloy in Asia, and the world at large.
