The Hunan-Taiwan Financial Cooperation Forum (HTFCF) was held on September 4 in Chenzhou. In a bid to create a dense atmosphere, Chenzhou has mobilized the citizens across the city and formulated a detailed preparatory scheme.

On the evening of Sep. 3, Lu Jianping, director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee met with the 8th cross-Straits media delegation composed of reporters from almost 40 media covering stories of "the 7th Hunan-Taiwan Financial Cooperation Forum" in Changsha.

Taking "experiencing new-type industrialization, new urbanization, agricultural modernization, informatization and the construction of 'Two-oriented' (energy-saving and environment-friendly) Society in Hunan" as their main task, they went to Loudi, Chenzhou, Zhangjiajie and other places, participated in the First Hunan (Shuangfeng) Zeng Guofan Academic Seminar and the 7th Hunan-Taiwan Financial Cooperation Forum, witnessed and disseminated the rapid development of Hunan and its achievements in foreign exchange and cooperation.
