Deputy Governor of Hunan Province- Han Yongwen led an investigation team to Chenzhou city on the new style urbanization construction. Han emphasized that scientific planning should be kept to guide the new style urbanization construction and accelerate its development into a new stage. General Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee- Xiang Lili and Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou city- Qu Hai accompanied this investigation team.

The first stop for Han Yongwen and his team was Heping village, Tangxi, Suxian district. After learning of the details of the villages’ infrastructure construction and the processing of “Lightening up Chenzhou city” project, Han stated that “lightening up Chenzhou city” was one of the feasible ways to integrate the development of urban and rural areas and upgrade peasants’ living quality.

After driving back to Chenzhou central city on Chenzhou road and inspecting Chenzhou image upgrading work, Han was impressed with the great changes of Chenzhou city and he highly affirmed Chenzhou central city’s infrastructure construction.
 

After inspecting the infrastructure constructions of Chenzhou central city, Zixing and Guiyang, Han listened to the working report delivered by Chenzhou government on the new style urbanization construction.

Han highly appraised Chenzhou government achievements on this construction as the effectiveness of Chenzhou new urbanization significantly enhanced the vitality of urban development, urban construction and management, which fully reflects the foundation first, the concept of industry support.
 

Han also remarked that new style urbanization was a long term development strategy which could not be fulfilled in a short time. On the process of propelling the construction, Chenzhou should keep the planning guidance and draw up the proper plan to propel the construction work steadily. Concerning for the concept of new style urbanization, the concept “people first” should be kept to optimize the urban area arrangement and perfect living condition with better city function. Meanwhile, more industry support should be improved to forge more high quality industries and provide more job vacancies for urban citizens. Furthermore, the problems such as capital, land etc. should be better solved by capital operation and resource integration to boost a new stage of Chenzhou’s construction.

Xiang Lili hosted the conference and also delivered a speech on the site. He stated that the central city and county upgrading and expansion were focused on for the construction of Chen-Zi-Gui and Chen-Yong-Yi city clusters, characteristic small towns’ constructions and “lightening up Chenzhou city” activities, which helped to accelerate Chenzhou’s development on balancing Chenzhou urban and rural improvement and increase new rural construction strength. He added that it was necessary for the government to keep supporting Chenzhou’s new style urbanization construction with more policies and planning.

Qu Hai reported Chenzhou city’s construction work on the conference. He said that Chenzhou was in the period of great development with the greatest investment and fastest acceleration. Now Chenzhou images and living conditions are upgraded gradually with better infrastructures. Sanjiangkou and Daping, the rapid rise characteristic small towns, became the city's highlights of the construction of small cities and towns.

Municipal leaders- Mao Tengfei, He Wenjun, Zhang Aiguo and Zhang Yangping were presented at the related activities.
