The approval speed of Chenzhou key project concentrated approval on-site conference is upgraded again. On July 30, during the conference, municipal departments finished the prior approval processes for 60 key projects with 241 items in 58 minutes. Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee- Xiang Lili, and Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou Government were presented at the conference and delivered his speech there.

This key project approval conference was organized by Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government. Chenzhou development and revolution committee, Chenzhou land and resources bureau and other 9 units set the working window on the conference. The relocation of Luojiajing market, new bus station, Nanhu north road, the second section of Minquan road, Yongjun road, electronic city of Taiwan industrial park and some other key projects were finished the approval procedures on the conference.

Smile of satisfactions were seen on the face of project owners who finished the approval work; they highly appraised the efficiency of the on-site conference, for it really saved lots of time for them.

Xiang Lili said: “Concentrated approval is one of the ways to boost the work, which should be formed as a regular working style to improve the government working efficiency.” It is a long term and complicated process to submit and get the approval of key projects in Chenzhou, which concerned with many departments. Generally speaking, it will cost at least half of the year to finish all the procedures, which will badly influence the project construction.

Xiang Lili stated that the key and core point concerned for the competition among cities was government’s approval efficiency. Now most of the investment policies were similar in different areas, the most important point for investors to decide to settle in one city was the local government investment environment and administrative approval efficiency. It was an important measure to upgrade Chenzhou government work efficiency and competitiveness by carrying out such concentrated approval conference.

Xiang also emphasized that the project approval efficiency should be further upgraded by half or 2/3 more so that municipal departments were required to issue related policies to improve the approval speed.

Qu Hai said that unconventional measures can be applied to serve the project construction. The relative departments have to follow the projects earlier to figure out more measures to meet their urgent demands, so that no project would be hindered by lacking of approval procedures. Chenzhou municipal discipline inspection and control department should inspect the behaviors during the approval processes accordingly.
