On September 18th to 20th, the Hunan provincial inspection team of stable growth and upgrading harmony took an overall investigation on Chenzhou government’s work. The team was divided into two sub-teams. one is led by Deputy Secretary-general of Hunan Provincial Party Committee- Xu Hongyuan and Deputy Director of Hunan Economy and Information Committee- Zhong Zhihui to Anren, Yongxing, Linwu and Jiahe counties, and the other is led by Director of Hunan Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security- Peng Chonggu and Deputy Director and Chief of Political Department of Hunan Public Security Department- Du Yaling for Yizhang, Rucheng, Guidong counties and Beihu district.

The sub-teams visited enterprises, factories, minerals and communities during every stop of their trips, and carefully listened to local department reports in order to fully grab the practical economy and social development conditions and provide suggestions for them to upgrade their work on the “stable growth & upgrading harmony”. After a comprehensive investigation with the on-site visit, supervision and forum, the team affirmed that Chenzhou took first actions on the relative work with fruitful results, which guaranteed Chenzhou city’s stable development. For next step, what Chenzhou would do is to keep this spirit and courage, trying first and gaining further results to greet the 18th CPC National Congress.

The team pointed out that in order to keep the stable growth, the government should focus on the project constructions while for the purpose of keeping the upgrading harmony, the government should focus on the practical requirements of people. From the beginning of 2012, the domestic economy downward pressure is keeping increasing, and Hunan province is facing this problem as well. Under this condition, Chenzhou government should try best to introduce more projects, focus on financial revenue, pay high attention to the development of the third industry, improve the domestic consumption, and balance the urban and rural development to improve rural consumption market. What’s more, during the process of economy development, the government should pay attention to environment protection, innovate the social management, resolve social contradictions efficiently, meet people’s demands and work with good working style to ensure all the targets set for “stable growth & upgrading harmony.
