The first general meeting of the second session of Chenzhou Baoqing commerce chamber was held on September 27, 2012. All the members gathered together to share their opinions on their further cooperation.

It was introduced that Baoqing was the former name of Shaoyang city which was named by one of the emperor of Song dynasty to memorize his earlier appendages. It was changed to Shaoyang in the period of the Republic of China. Chenzhou Baoqing Commerce Chamber was founded in 2007 and it was the first commerce chamber of Chenzhou city. After its establishment, more sub-chambers were founded on the basis of the location like Beihu, southern city and central city sub-chambers.

In recent years, this chamber has been improving on its marketing capacity and level, chamber regulation and mechanism, service function, etc..

It is learned that the chamber now has got more than 400 members. With the development of the chamber, it contributed to its members together with the society, for instance, it financed the member with 310 million yuan, helped members to seize the developing chance on time, tried its effort on public service projects and new rural construction and donated to the poor with great amounts of over 20 million yuan.

Chenzhou municipal leaders- Fan Zhongda, Shou Jianzhong, Lei Chunyong, Zhou Hailin, Tan Kefan etc. attended the activity.
