The launching ceremony of two provincial basic farmland construction projects of Rucheng County was held in Rucheng County on December 20, 2012.

The total areas of the two provincial projects take up 16871mu. The total investments on these two projects amount to 29.89 million yuan. It is planned to upgrade the farmlands of these two projects to be high level with concentrated lands, supporting facilities, high and stable production capacity, sound ecological condition, strong disaster prevention capability, modern agricultural production and marketing models and it is expected to provide a strong support for the economic and social development and safe grain production in Rucheng County.
