Chenzhou rural work retreat session held

Chenzhou rural work retreat session was held on December 20, 2012. It was stated in the session that all levels of governments should be guided with the spirit of 18th National Congress of CPC and more importance should be attached to the “three rural issues” in order to promote the agricultural modernization and new rural construction by accelerating procedures of integration of urban & rural areas. All the tasks should be focused on increasing the income of rural people, keep the continuous and healthy development of rural economy and tability.

It was raised in the session that the general working target of 2013 rural work was to strive to get over 4% increase of Chenzhou total agricultural output value, 17% increase of rural per capita net income, and 1.90 million tons of gross output volume of grains.

He Wenjun highly affirmed the achievements and arrangements of Chenzhou agricultural and rural work. He stated that all the departments should pay high attention to the implementation of the spirit of 18th National Congress of CPC and figuring out 2013 working ideas and targets, accelerate the promotion of modern agriculture to increase the rural people’s income, work better on the integration development of urban & rural areas with better guidance and service for basic governments and better settlement of “three rural issues”, make great efforts in constructing the two-oriented society demonstration belt, small town and new rural to realize the integration of urban & rural areas, infrastructure and public services. Besides, they need to improve ecological civilization construction and greening project to build a beautiful Chenzhou city, pay more attention to poverty alleviation work to promote the coordinate development among counties and enhance the reform and innovation work to attract more investments.

Lei Xiaoda pointed out that 2013 agricultural and rural work should attach much importance to the overall planning of urban and rural areas, pay much more attention to the construction of establishing a national forest city and pilot city of national ecological civilized city to promote the greening and ecological work of Chenzhou city and focus on the comprehensive work of urban & rural area environment to fully promote the construction of a beautiful Chenzhou city.
