It was reported in the reform work debriefing meeting of Chenzhou state-owned enterprises that the reform and restructuring task of state-owned enterprises in Chenzhou has been fulfilled. This reform work was started in Chenzhou in 2003.

Till now, 96 municipal enterprises have implemented the reform and restructuring work which dealt with 47700 workers. 174 cases concerned about realizable value of 2.082 billion yuan were settled on the reform process. Some debts of the reform and restructuring enterprise were resolved or inherited on the process legally. Some debts concerned about well-being condition and social stability, repairmen of employee buildings, asset warrants and other issues were properly settled.

In the next step, the reform office of Chenzhou city will enhance the strength on investigation to collect the earlier problems not solved yet with relative departments and report to Chenzhou government to have them settled together. In the meantime, the communication platform will be established to improve the communication with the employees to meet their proper demands and protect their legal rights with the aim of keeping the stability of Chenzhou society.

Fan Jianjun who is the Deputy Director of Hunan provincial SASAC led a team to investigate the reform work handled in Chenzhou city. Shou Jianzhong, Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City addressed a working report during the meeting.
