Three more expressways construction will be started within 2013

It was learned from the leadership group meeting of Chenzhou city’s traffic construction work that Chenzhou section of Yanru expressway will be opened to traffic within 2013

575kms expressway will be available in Chenzhou city.

In 2013, 4 billion yuan investment will be placed to the construction of Chenzhou section of Yanru expressway which is about 98kms. Once it finished, the expressway available in Chenzhou city would be 575kms. Besides that, more efforts will be tried on the start of three more expressways-Sannan, Guining and Linlian expressway and 1.8 billion yuan will be invested on the upgrade of Leiyi expressway. 

Chenzhou section of G107 will be improved as the civilization boilerplate road.

As required by the Ministry of Traffic and Hunan Communications Department, besides the ready parts of G107, all the rest part should be constructed as the civilization boilerplate road. 2.6 billion yuan will be invested on the arterial highways construction to improve Chenzhou highways condition.

11 bus terminals will be built in destitute areas.

In order to implement the strategy of traffic poverty alleviation, 74.15 million yuan will be placed on the passenger and freight traffic investment. According to the plan, 11 new rural terminals and 231 bus stops of total 296 ones will be built in destitute areas and 2 more satisfied terminals will be constructed. With those efforts, 96.8% villages can be with regular buses. Besides that, 540 million yuan will be invested on rural highways construction and 1 billion yuan will be placed to improve the greening and brighten projects of the highways.
