It was learned from Yizhang county, Chenzhou that the fifth round of its ecological forestation project will be started soon and 500 million yuan was planned to invest on it. Retreatment of stony desertification project and demonstration towns and villages construction projects can be benefited from that plan.

In 2012, 400 million yuan was invested on the forth round project to fulfill 86000mu ecological forestation task. Thanks to this action, Yizhang county’s forest coverage reached 57.9%. It was titled as the provincial advanced unit of greening. Yizhang county carried out different measures to promote its ecological improvement, such as implementing forestation project, establishing national forest city, constructing national key ecological function zone, managing heavy metal pollution retreatment, improving “two-oriented society” belts construction, etc..
