It was learned from relevant departments that the total output value of scaled industry of Beihu district in the first two months of 2013 hit 3.518 billion yuan, up 37.9%, 1.904 billion among which is added value of scaled industry with an estimated increase rate of 102.7%.

In recent years, followed by the principals to strengthen the large industries, fully promote industries transformation and upgrading, and accelerate the adjustment of industry structure, Beihu district achieved a sound and fast development of industries. In the first two months of 2013, total output value of manufacturing industry was amounted to 2.96 billion yuan, up 50.6% which took 84.14% of the total industry value. In the other hand, mining industry was with a decreasing rate on its growth, while tobacco, petrifaction, electronics, electricity and medicament were with rapid growth. More high tech industry enterprises with above scaled level were settled down in Beihu district.
