In order to enhance and upgrade the technology of Chenzhou graphite industry, more than 10 experts from Russian, Canada, UK, USA, Australia and other countries were invited to attend the symposium of Chenzhou graphite industry development on March 27, 2013,. All the experts shared their ideas on the improvement of graphite industry’s technology in the symposium.

Because of its sound thermostability, heat conduction, electric conduction, lubrication, etc., graphite was considered as one of key materials for the development of new emerging industries and upgrading of traditional industries. Chenzhou city is with abundant graphite resources, especially the microcrystalline graphite accounting for 70% of China’s total amount, which enabled Chenzhou city was entitled as “the town of microcrystalline graphite”. In recent years, many strategies were carried out by Chenzhou government to upgrade the management and development of graphite industry.

After listening to the report for the development condition of Chenzhou graphite industry, especially the management condition, all the experts suggested that Chenzhou city should accelerate the speed to handle the transformation, upgrading and structure adjustment of graphite industry to upgrade its technology level and industry chain promotion. All the experts would visit the site of graphite mining areas and workshops to discuss more details with the enterprises concerning on the talents, technologies, etc..
