It was learned that Zixing city was selected in the list of the fifth batch of key counties of central finance small-scale water conservancy. From 2013-2015, 54 million yuan provincial financial subsidies can be obtained for the construction of high standard farmland, and 212 million yuan investment can be hit on small-scale water conservancy investment.

In the following three years, more water conservancy infrastructures would be newly built and upgraded in Zixing city, especially in the major grain producing areas.

Once all the construction projects fulfilled in Zixing city, a better irrigation condition, water saving capacity and grain production capacity can be reached there, which can increase the per capita annual average income accordingly. All those can help to meet the modern fields targets set in the county as flat and fertile farmland, assort water conservancy facilities and high yield rate and efficiency.
