Qu Hai led a delegation to visit Luoyang city, Henan province

On May 19, 2013, Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City led a delegation to visit Luoyang city, Henan province. Qu said that Luoyang city’s construction experience on interaction of production and urban city was very helpful for the promotion of overall development of urban and rural areas of Chenzhou city.

One of the key areas for Qu’s investigation was Luoyuang new district which was launched in 2003 with initial measures of 89 square kms. With its rapid development, it was expanded to 515 square kms in 2009, which was divided to core district, Yibin new district and urban & rural integration district. At the mean time, working committee and management committee of the new district to promote its construction work.

The No.1 resettlement community for interaction of production and urban city of Yibin new district was a model of the collaboration development of new industrialization and new urbanization. 120,000 villagers from 35 villages would be resettled in 3 years to leave 12000mu land for the new industrial cluster construction. It was introduced by the principals of local principal of the project, house, security, insurance, pension, and other issues concerned for future life of the resettled villagers would be handled simultaneously to ensure their living condition.

Qu stated during the investigation that interaction of production and urban city construction way handled by Yibin new district combined new industrialization and new urbanization together to achieve the continuous development of both industry and farmer’s transformation. This kind of experience was greatly helpful for Chenzhou city’s further promotion of overall development of urban and rural areas

Qu and his team investigated Hongjin agricultural products wholesale logistic center as well.
