Xiang Lili: warmly welcome the members of CPPCC to place the investment in Chenzhou city

On June 19, 2013, symposium for members of CPPCC of Hunan province, Hong Kong and Macao was held during “Hong Kong Week” period. Du Jiahao- Deputy Secretary of Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Hunan Province and some Hunan provincial leaders attended the conference. “There would be more chances and rewards available for members of CPPCC of Hong Kong and Macau if you come to place investment in Chenzhou city.”- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Xiang Lili expressed his warmly welcome for all the members on the symposium.

50% of the foreign investment in Chenzhou city was from Hong Kong and Macau currently

In recent years, Chenzhou city kept the opening up strategy to improve its economy. Because of its location advantages, Chenzhou city focused its goal on the cooperation with Guangdong province, Hong Kong and Macau at the first step by actively handle the undertaking industrial transfer. With years improvement, Chenzhou became one of the cities of Hunan province with best achievements with Hong Kong and Macau areas. Currently, 50% of the foreign investment in Chenzhou city was from Hong Kong and Macau. Chenzhou became one of the key tourism destinations of Hong Kong and Macau people as well.

More than 80 enterprises of Hong Kong and Macau kept their improvement in Chenzhou city

At the very first beginning of the establishment of Chenzhou city, there were members of CPPCC from Hong Kong and Macau available in Chenzhou Municipal CPPCC. Till now, though the numbers of them still not so high, they played very important role in improving the development of Chenzhou city especially in improving cooperation with Hong Kong and Macau areas.

The members tried their best to promote Chenzhou city to the enterprises of Hong Kong and Macau and persuaded them to place investment there. Till now, 80 enterprises have been settled down in Chenzhou city. Along with their rapid development, more enterprises were attracted to Chenzhou city.

Xiang Lili presented a detailed introduction of the development of Chenzhou society and economy and its key advantages on his report in the symposium. Xiang stated that Chenzhou city would keep the policy to cooperate with Guangdong province, Hong Kong and Macau to actively carry out the undertaking industrial transfer.

Furthermore, “COFA Sanxiang Activity (Chenzhou)” would be well arranged by Chenzhou city this year. Warmly welcome was delivered to all the members attended this symposium to go to visit Chenzhou city to enhance their confidence in the cooperation with Chenzhou city.
