“Five ones” strategic system of non-ferrous metal development and ecological civilization construction working plan were deeply discussed in Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee conference.

Non-ferrous metal was one of the key elements of Chenzhou city with international feature, while ecological civilization was the key development feature of Chenzhou city.

Concerning for both the two important elements, a special Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee conference was held recently for discussion of them. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee hosted the conference.

Chenzhou city was famous as “non-ferrous metal city of China”. In order to further promote the development of non-ferrous industry and upgrade its competitiveness, international influence and sustainable capacity, a “five ones”strategic system of non-ferrous metal development was promoted by Chenzhou municipal party committee and Chenzhou government. What is “five ones”? They were one batch of brand enterprises, one quality inspection center, one price index, one trading platform and one display platform.

“The implementation views on the acceleration of ‘five ones’ strategic system construction of non-ferrous metal (manuscript)” was principally approved on the conference. It was pointed that non-ferrous metal was the source of Chenzhou city’s development.

In order to reach the breakthrough for the development of non-ferrous metal, innovative development model with international form and optimized non-ferrous industry cluster should be improved; features of Chenzhou non-ferrous metal should be highlighted to upgrade; specified working plan should be worked out to guide the work; and some leading brands and enterprises should be cultivated to enhance the influence and competitiveness of Chenzhou non-ferrous metal industry.

Followed with the requirement of the 18th National People’s Congress on ecological civilization, great achievements were reached in Chenzhou city. On the conference, “solution of Chenzhou ecological civilization construction work”was approved principally and a leadership group of the ecological civilization construction was established accordingly. It was planned to establish a ecological civilized and harmonious Chenzhou city. It was stated out that the primary work for handling this solution was to work well on greening work and try to establish national demonstration city of ecological civilization in 2018.
