It was required by Qu Hai on his investigation of overall development of urban and rural areas

Xishui village, Guiyuang county and Sanhe village, Beihu district are two demonstration villages of Chenzhou city’s overall development of urban and rural areas. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City led a team with some principals of municipal departments visited the two villages. It was intended to solve some problems hindered on the way of overall development of urban and rural areas by this investigation.

Under current condition, Xishui village was covered within the urban area construction plan. Housing construction and industrial development were tended to be transferred to urbanization. Qu stated that it should be promoted with Xishui special features and highlights to carry out the construction of Xishui village.

According to Sanhe village’s planning, it was on the process for further development of tourism industry with three key name cards as forest wetland, wedding photography, and green development to attract more investors and tourists to come to Sanhe village. Qu said further improvement should be reached in Sanhe village to upgrade it to be a famous tourism destination nationwide.

During the investigation, Qu also stated following points to keep handling out the construction of overall development of urban and rural areas: first, sound planning should be figure out to promote the village construction and industrial development with more local features and industrial support; second, the infrastructure construction should be accelerated to ensure all the projects concerned for road, water supply, electricity, etc. can be fulfilled on time; third, featured industries should be strengthened by attracting more investment on leisure tourism, flowers and plants, vegetable plant, etc.; forth, ecological protection and environment comprehensive treatment should be kept with high attention to protect the natural condition of the village; fifth, different resources should be integrated to obtain more favorable policies, funds and support from upper level government to promote the overall development of urban and rural areas; sixth, all villages enthusiasm should be mobilized to take part in the construction of village; seventh, whole range of reforms should be promoted to make sure the demonstration village can be with sustainable development.
