Implementation and inspection briefing on promotion of non-public economy and medium-sized and small enterprises was held in Chenzhou city on July 9, 2013. It was learned that great achievements on both scale and efficiency were achieved by Chenzhou city, awarding first class reward for three consecutive years. Huang Dongjiang- Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Economic and Information Commission led a team to investigate the work handled out in Chenzhou city. Shou Jianzhong- Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary-general of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou city attended the briefing.

It was introduced that the medium-sized and small enterprises were improved rapidly in Chenzhou city. More than 10310 of these enterprises (excluding individual businesses) were registered in Chenzhou city in 2012. At the meantime, the added value of non-public economy hit 103.399 billion yuan with an increase of 13.6%, amounting to 67.87% of Chenzhou city’s GDP which was 10.13% higher than the average level of Hunan province. The tax payment of non-public economy was amounted to 9.737 billion yuan.

Huang and his team visited some enterprises to learn more details of the operation condition of them. It was stated by the team that the enterprises of Chenzhou city conquered the difficulties and still achieved the rapid development under current economic condition that macroeconomic downturn and overall economic slowdown. The team members highly affirmed the work handled out by Chenzhou municipal party committee and Chenzhou government to serve for the enterprises, and emphasized that further improvement of non-public economy and medium-sized and small enterprises should be promoted by freeing mind, enhancing platform construction, playing full role of location advantaged, focusing on key projects construction, and etc..
