It was required on the economic situation analysis conference of first half year in Chenzhou city

Chenzhou economic situation analysis conference of first half year was held on July 10, 2013. It was required that all the annual tasks should be fulfilled on current economic situation with all the efforts of departments. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City delivered important speeches on the conference.

Though the macroeconomic situation was complicate and the economic downward pressure was tougher during the first half year, Chenzhou city still kept top place of economic increase on different indexes among other cities of Hunan province. Its industrial structure changes were with sound trend. In the first half year, GDP, fiscal revenue, public fiscal budget income, added value of scaled industries, fixed assets investment, social retail sales of consumer goods, import & export trade, and all other key economic indexes were with different rate of growth, which met the first half year targets accordingly.

After analyzing macroeconomic situation and the new features of economic operation of Chenzhou city, Xiang stated that all the departments should follow the economic trend to figure out relative measures actively on different aspects as reform and opening up, industrial transformation, cultivation of new economic growth point, expansion of investment, application of favorable policies, urbanization, and etc..

Xiang required that all the departments should well hold the new tasks of the scientific development of Chenzhou city and carry out 2013 economic work on the basis of general working plan and requirements to fulfill all the annual tasks. The key points were as follow: overall development of urban & rural areas, transformation improvement with opening ideas, acceleration of tertiary industry development, key projects construction, ecological environment improvement, well-being projects construction, optimization of investment condition, and etc..

Xiang stressed that all the departments should well note the new requirements for the promotion of development. Some new policies and measures should be innovated with more opening mind; capability on steering the economy should be upgraded to grasp economic laws and policies to seize the chance to improve Chenzhou city’s development; and enhanced implementation of working plan and supervision should be carried out to ensure the annual tasks can be fulfilled accordingly.

Qu Hai pointed out that the economic development should be promoted stably. All the departments should keep confidence and try their best to meet the target set at the beginning of this year. More efforts should be placed on the projects investment, service for enterprises, agriculture industry, investment attraction, economic structure adjustment, well-being projects, and etc..

Qu also pointed out that all economic working should be implemented well with strict management and supervision, enhanced support and optimized environment condition. 

Some municipal leaders of Chenzhou city and principals of relative departments and counties attended the conference.
