Qu Hai took investigation on Dongjiang river diversion project in Chendian International Company

Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City investigated Dongjiang river diversion project in Chendian International Company. It was required that further improvement should be carried for preliminary work with rapid working progress, and try to be approved in the third quarter and started construction sooner.

Dongjiang river diversion project was divided to three phases as short term (2015), long term (2020) and future term (2030). Concerning for the short term, it was planned to supply 0.3 million cubic meters water every day. Its budget investment was about 1.19 billion yuan and planned to be finished within 3 years. 29 sub-reports of this project have been finished and submitted to Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Committee for approval, which was expected to be approved in the end of this August.

Qu Hai and the members of investigation team visited some sites listing for the project and stated that the diversion project was one of the key well-being projects in Chenzhou city. It was concerned for the social sustainable development of Chenzhou city, which can help to effectively relieve the high stress of water supply for Chenzhou urban area. All the departments should work together to promote the development of this project. At the meantime, construction of financing platform and optimization of project solutions and mechanism should be accelerated as well to provide sound support for the project.

Qu and the team listened to the working report addressed by Chendian International Company during their investigation. Qu stated that Chendian International should pay more attention on highlighting its mayor works, especially tap water supply, power grid security, upgrading of rural power grid, upgrading of service level, capital operation, cultivation and introduction of talents, etc..
