Second special group of Chenzhou Municipal CPPCC took investigation on Chenzhou city’s grain working on August 15, 2013.

It was learned that from this January to July, total grain and oil processing volume was reached 0.57 million tons, accounting to 2.26 billion yuan.1.74 billion yuan of it was from above scale processing enterprises. Total sales revenue was amounted to 1.66 billion yuan. Furthermore, more grain processing projects, warehousing projects and logistic projects with about 150 million yuan investment was under construction. Some projects concerned for noodle, rice, oil tea, etc. were followed the time schedule to be promoted well. It was introduced that from August 5 to 14, about 20894tons of early rice were purchased by some national grain collection enterprises of Chenzhou city with the price of 132yuan per 50kgs. It was estimated to collect about 0.25 million tons of rice in 2013.

All the members of the special group learned more details of the purchase, warehousing, processing and management of grain after listening to the special reports and visited the grain warehouses on site.
