First half year’s working briefing conference for county level’s government offices was held in Guidong county on August 20, 2013. Working reports concerned for the county government, procuratorate and court were delivered on the conference.

It was reported that the county’s GDP hit 950 million yuan in the first half year, up 10.8%; fixed asset investment was amounted to 1.61 billion yuan, up 35.3%; general financial revenue was reached 15.041 million yuan with an increase of 20.3%, 10.377 million yuan of which was public financial budget revenue, up 31.8%; added value of scaled industry was achieved 187 million yuan, up 10.3%; and total retail sales of consumer goods was amounted to 260 million yuan, up 12.3%. According to the statistics, Guidong county was with a sound development condition on both society and economy.

After listening to the working reports delivered by the county government, procuratorate and court, representatives of Guidong County’s People’s Congress shared their opinions and suggestions on some hot issues concerning for people’s living condition.
