More than 130 people from DRC-Stanford Student Association visited Chenzhou on August 23, 2013. It was purposely for the business investigation of Chenzhou city, which would last for 3 days. It would be helpful for further promotion of Chenzhou city’s social and economical development condition. At the meantime, the team would learn more details for Chenzhou city’s achievements, opportunities and prospects on investment attraction, undertaking industrial transfer, cultural and tourism development, etc..
“DRC-Stanford”was a “cultivation plan of Chinese new enterprise leaders” launched by Development Research Center of the State Council and Stanford University in 2003. More than 800 key enterprises leaders from over 30 industries were benefited from this plan. It was reported that this association visited about 300 famous enterprises of 60 cities of China and other countries in recent years. More than 90 projects were settled down between local governments and enterprises with their efforts, which greatly helped to improve local cities investment attraction and economic cooperation.
According to the time schedule, the association would visit Chenzhou east new district, Chenzhou export processing industrial zone (Chenzhou Hihg-tech Industrial Zone), Zixing Dongjiang lake, Guiyang mines, etc. during the three days. They would attend some activities as the promotion conference of Chenzhou city and charity party as well during their investigation.
