Profits were gained in 35 industries

Top five industries with highest profit amount were: coal mining and washing industry, non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry, chemical materials and chemical products manufacturing industry, electricity and heat production and supply industry and tobacco industry.

According to the statistic, the total profit of above-scale industries was hit 7.04 billion yuan in Chenzhou city in the first half year, up 18.8%, which was 13.8% and 7.7% higher than Hunan provincial average level and national average level. Though it was about 2.9% lower than first five months, this increasing rate still ranked the forth place of Hunan province.

Compared with last five months, the total profits of these five industries were 30.6% lower, but it was still 7.1% higher than last year. Except non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry, all other four industries were with increasing rate compared with last five months.

All large scale, medium size and small size enterprises were with increasing profit, especially for the large and medium size enterprises.

According to the data, 780 million yuan, 1.31 billion yuan, and 4.95 billion yuan profits were reached by large scale, medium size and small size enterprises separately with increase rates of 250%, 28.5% and 14.1% respectively. The large and medium size enterprises were about 11.9% of all scaled industrial enterprises of Chenzhou city, covering 29.7% of its total profit amount with an increase of 3.1%.

Profits were gained by various economic enterprises, especially for the foreign-controlled enterprises

It was shown by the statistic that concerning for above-scaled enterprise, total profits of state-owned and collective-owned enterprises hit 560 million yuan, up 46.3%; private enterprises hit 80 million yuan, up 42.0%; Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan enterprises hit 3.65 billion yuan, up 5.2%; and foreign-controlled enterprises hit 870 million yuan, up 168.1%; and other enterprises hit 1.83 billion yuan, up 10.9%.
