Special interview with Zhou Hui- head of Ningxiang county which was one of the top ten strong counties of Hunan county economy development

“I have been to Chenzhou city for many times. That was the second time trip for me within a short term. Last time I was here to visit the high-tech industries of Chenzhou, which was shocked me for its rapid development on opto-electronics.”said Zhou Hui- head of Ningxiang county which was one of the top ten strong counties of Hunan county economy development. Zhou also stated that the establishment of“cross” great transportation pattern would be a great support for Chenzhou city’s further development. “Now the unique patterns of Chenzhou are with the style of big cities, large rural areas, and great Chenzhou.”Zhou stated. 

It was introduced by Zhou Hui that Ningxiang county focused on the following three aspects to improve the county economy development: first, highlighting the development of industrial park and industry by keeping promotion of new urbanization with new industrialization and keeping promotion of overall development of urban and rural areas with new urbanization; second, highlighting the technology and talents development to upgrade the competitiveness of county economy; third, highlighting the investment attraction to expand the opening-up.

“It was admiring to learn the achievements of Chenzhou city on the featured economy, brand economy, ecological economy and advantageous industries.” Zhou commented that Chenzhou placed much more efforts in the development of ecological county economy than other cities for it was a mining city. Most of us should learn such kind of positive spirit on development from Chenzhou city.

There were some common points for both Ningxiang and Chenzhou city’s development of county economy, such as promoting county economy on the basis of agricultural industry. But Ningxiang was close to Changsha- capital of Hunan province, which was a great advantage for it. More efforts should be tried by Chenzhou city to be improved better in future. Zhou expressed his best wishes to Chenzhou city.
