Press conference of 2013 China (Chenzhou) international leisure tourism and culture festival was held on September 2, 2013 in Changsha. This festival would be started on September 16, 2013. Liu Zhiming- Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Tourism Bureau attended the conference.

It was introduced by Zhang Xihui- Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City that the festival would be started from September 16 to 29. According to the time schedule, the opening ceremony would be held on Guiyang Baoshan National Mine Park, while closing ceremony on Rucheng Jiulongjiang National Forest Park. 27 subjects would be carried out during the period, such as large-scaled live-action performances, first China tent festival in mine’s cliff, third Hunan-Jiangxi ancient horses trail hiking activity, sixth five provinces in south China and Hongkong and Macao (Rucheng) cross-county track race, etc..

The key highlight for this festival would be Baoshan industrial mining travel which was with the theme of industrial mining culture to show ancient industrial mining history, modern mining processes, scientific knowledge of industrial mining, and some interactive leisure entertainment activities. Because there are not so many such kind of industrial mining tourism projects available in the world, Baoshan industrial mining was listed as county level, municipal level and provincial level key projects successfully and was promoted well in the earlier years. Because of its features of summer resort, scientific popularization and leisure, Baoshan industrial mining is really a good way worth traveling. 

The general tourism industry development condition was reported on the press conference as well by the relative principal of Chenzhou Municipal Tourism Bureau.

8:28 a.m. September 16: opening ceremony of 2013 China (Chenzhou) international leisure tourism and culture festival in Guiyang Baoshan National Mine Park;

9:00 a.m. September 17: third Hunan-Jiangxi ancient horses trail hiking activity in Yuhou street;

September 12 to 15: first Dongjiang lake international folk music festival in Zixing Dongjiang cultural square;

September 15 to 16: Dongjiang lake land and water bicycle contest in Zixing Dongjiang lake landscape area;

3:00 p.m. September 17: first China tent festival in mine’s cliff (first Hunan mountains outdoor sports meeting) in Guiyang Baoshan National Mine Park;

9:00 a.m. September 19: opening ceremony of Jiulao peak landscape in Jiahe county;

September 26-27: ultimate challenge of high-platform and high-temperature hot spring diving performance in shallow pool in Rucheng Reshui hot spring;

September 27-29: sixth five provinces in south China and Hongkong and Macao (Rucheng) cross-county track race in Rucheng Jiulongjiang National Forest Park;

September 26-27: third bicycle trans-Jiulongjiang river contest in Rucheng Jiulongjiang National Forest Park;

September 28: exploration of Bamianshan mountain with old Red Army’s track in Baimianshan mountain of Guidong county;

8:30 a.m. September 29: closing ceremony of 2013 China (Chenzhou) international leisure tourism and culture festival in Rucheng Jiulongjiang National Forest Park.
