The scale industrial added value increased 6 times with an average annual increasing rate of 32.8%

It was learned from the observation conference to the construction sites of Chenzhou city’s industrial parks on September 17, 2013 that compared with 2009, the total area of Chenzhou industrial parks was about 1.8 times more, increasing 99 square kilometers. Technical industrial and trade income of industrial parks was reached 100 billion in 2011, while scale industrial added value was amounted to 34.4 billion yuan in 2012 with an average annual increase of 32.8% in recent three years.

With its rapid development, the economical indexes of the industrial park were with high level in Chenzhou city now, for example, scale industrial added value covers 40.25 of total, fixed assets investment is 36%, the total value of high-tech is 79.8%, and the expenses of research and development of scaled industry covers 84.1%, all of which enable industrial parks to play a very important role in Chenzhou city’s economic development.

Chenzhou Economic Development Zong, Zixing Economic Development Zone, Guiyang Industrial Park, Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Zone, Anren Fine Chemical Industrial Park, Jiahe Economic Development Zone, and Yongxing and Yizhang county’s Economic Development Zone were with great achievements in recent years.

Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Zone was one of the best developing zones among the above mentioned ones. Its area was expanded for 4 times of the very beginning of its establishment. Its fixed asset investment and industrial output value were amounted to 15 billion yuan and 70 billion yuan separately. Concerned for technical industrial and trade income, it was kept with rapid development speed to reach 60 billion yuan in 2013. It was ranked the fourth place in 2012 new industrialization assessment of provincial and higher level industrial parks of Hunan province, and ranked 29th place among 59 industrial processing zones of China for its processing trade value while 1st place among 8 ones of central of China.

LED industry was one of the key industries in the industrial parks with great achievements. Chenzhou city has become the biggest LED production base in Hunan province. Most of the LED manufacturers were settled down in Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Zone. It was learned that the LED output value was amounted to 1.6 billion yuan in 2012 with a growth rate of 24%. According to the data, 1 billion yuan output value was achieved for LED industry in Chenzhou city, which was one of the best parts for Chenzhou electronic information industry.
