When reporters arrived at Jinjimiao construction site of Zixing section of Chenyong avenue on Oct. 11, 2013, workers were busying in fighting for the final stage of the traffic construction. It was learned from the principal of this construction site project that all the constructors and supervisors were deployed with relative post to fight for fulfilling the construction target. According to the data, 1.5kms pitch can be paved every day under current situation, so 10days later Zixing section’s pitch paving can be fulfilled accordingly.

In order to make sure all the annual construction targets to be over fulfilled, after launching “120-day”labor contest for the second half year, a new “one-hundred-day campaign” for transportation construction was promoted in Chenzhou city currently. An intense competition of the transportation construction on project progress, quality and safety production was carried out among the counties and projects’construction sites. The cadres who were in charge of the construction projects were required to stay at the frontline for at least half of their working time to carry out the coordination issues and technicians were required to keep whole day stand-by in the sites to provide the technological guidance. A strict attendance checking system was operated to make sure they were followed with the requirements to handle their work. A special “five 100%” target was issued to the highways construction, which referred to finishing preliminary work with 100% rate, completing land demolishing with 100% rate, finishing rod line removal with 100%, carrying out the construction with 100% rate and fulfilling the culvert construction with 100% rate. At the meantime, some key follow-up and guidance work would be carried out for the projects which should be finished within 2013 and enhanced supervision and coordination work would be placed for some projects under construction as well.

From the beginning of 2013, the transportation construction of Chenzhou city was promoted rapidly. 8.44 billion yuan has been invested on the construction work with an increase of 14%, ranking the top place of Hunan province. 3.57 billion yuan investment on expressways has been fulfilled. Chenzhou section of Yanru expressway was under the road surface construction, and Guixin expressway has signed the strategic cooperation frame with the investor. At the meantime, 1.79 billion yuan has been placed on highway projects which was 810 million yuan more compared with last year. 654kms rural road construction work has been finished, covering 129.7% of annual task. 3667kms greening work of highway channels has been done, covering 144% of the annual task. Furthermore, 2.1 billion yuan has been placed to the bridges projects and 1.69 billion yuan has been invested on some unplanned projects.
