It was learned from Chenzhou Statistics Bureau that the main business income for above-scale industries was with an increase of 16.4%. Total profits hit 11.70 billion yuan, up 17.4%, which was about 2.8% lower than the first eight months of 2013. Concerning for the cost of every one hundred yuan for main business, it was around 79.1yuan which was about 0.2 yuan more compared with first eight months. But the profit rate for the main business was of 6.6%, 0.1% higher than the first eight months.

All economic types of enterprises were with increase, especially for the state holding enterprise

By registration, the profit achieved by the state holding enterprises was amounted to 1.19 billion yuan, up 30.6%; private ones was of 8.82 billion yuan, up 8.9%; Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises was with 1.34 billion yuan, up 110%; and other domestic ones was to 280 million yuan, up 2.8%.

It was reported that 37 major industries achieved profitability, while 25 ones of them were with increasing profit. The top five ones were coal mining and washing industry, non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry, electricity, heat production and supply industry, chemical materials and chemical products manufacturing, and non-ferrous metal mining industry with the profit of 1.68 billion yuan, 1.52 billion yuan, 1.26 billion yuan, 1.09 billion yuan and 1.06 billion yuan respectively. Total profit of these top five ones were amounted to 6.61 billion yuan, up 9.8%. Besides electricity, heat production and supply industry & chemical materials and chemical products manufacturing which were with an increase of 92.3% and 19.1% separately, rest were with decreasing profit.

The profit of large and medium-sized enterprises was with decreasing increase, and the small and micro- enterprises’profit increased slower.

According to the data, among the above-scale industrial enterprises, the profit of large enterprises was amounted to 1.17 billion yuan with an increase of 24.1%, about 13.8% lower than first eight month’s; the profit of medium-sized enterprises was up to 2.3 billion yuan with an increase of 31.9%, 3.6% lower than first eight month’s; and the profit of small and micro-enterprises was hit 8.23 billion yuan, 1.1% lower than first eight month’s.
