Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement Reaches between Chenzhou City and Sinopec Hunan Petroleum Branch

 It was estimated to invest 4 billion yuan in Chenzhou city by Sinopec

 

It was reported that a strategic cooperation framework agreement was signed between Chenzhou Government and Sinopec Hunan Petroleum Branch on November 12, 2013. According to the agreement, 4 billion yuan investment would be placed by Sinopec Hunan Petroleum Branch in Chenzhou city before 2020 on the construction of pipelines, gas stations, facilitation of gas utilization, etc. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City attended the signing ceremony and signed the agreement with the company on behalf of Chenzhou Government.

 

In following years, enhanced construction investment would be placed in Chenzhou city on natural gas utilization projects, service centers in expressways, oil depots, gas stations, etc. by Sinopec. 10 more high standard gas stations would be built in Chenzhou urban areas before 2015. Furthermore, distribution stations would be established in Chenzhou city to download the gas from upcoming new Guangdong-Zhenjiang gas pipeline project. Once this project finished, it would be more helpful to provide the gas for people’s daily life, cars, public households, etc.

 

Qu stated that Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government would earnestly implement the responsibilities and obligations listed in the strategic agreement to support the development of Sinopec in Chenzhou city with more effective resources and regularized marketing order. Enhanced communication would be carried out by Chenzhou government to implement the project and provide a sound construction condition for the project.

 

Pan Guimei- Secretary of Sinopec Hunan Branch Party Committee and Li Ping- Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City attended the signing ceremony as well.
