Fresh winter bamboo shoots

It is the season for the growing of winter bamboo shoots now. When reporters arrived at Taoping village, Guidong county, Chenzhou city, one of the villagers- Zhu Guobang was busy in picking up the winter bamboo shoots. He showed the fresh winter bamboo shoots to reporters and said gladly that each kilogram of it can be sold with 10-14 yuan. It was introduced that the renovation of bamboo was one of the “100 well-being” projects of Guidong county. More technical renovation funds and advanced technologies were placed on this renovation project to help farmers to increase their income. As stated by Zhu Guobang, followed with the new technology, the winter bamboo shoots were improved to be bigger and the yield capacity was increased 20-30% per year. With this improvement, per capita income of Taoping villagers was increased more than 2000 yuan.
