It was learned from Guiyang County Bureau of Commerce that the total volume of its processing trade hit $168 million in the first ten months, which covered 24% of the total amount of 20 Hunan provincial major pilots of county processing trade, ranking first place of Hunan province.

In recent years, by seizing the chance to be confirmed as “demonstration county of undertaking costal processing trade industrial transfer”of Chenzhou city, Guiyang county played best role of its local advantages, mineral resources, agricultural resources, low investment cost advantage, etc. to attract many projects from Pearl River Delta and coastal areas and promote the processing trade greatly. Till now, more than 20 large scale foreign trade enterprises have been settled down in Guiyang county with over ten billion yuan investment, providing 5000 job vacancies to local residents. Infrastructure construction facilities, mineral processing products, energy-saving products, electronics, and other kinds of products were produced in Guiyang county and exported to European and American markets, Japan, Korea, and other countries.

To promote sustained and rapid development of processing trade and expand foreign trade scale, Guiyang county innovated many different ways to help the enterprises develop new products and new markets. According to the data, from this January to October, its processing trade amount was amounted to $198 billion, up 1265%. It was estimated to fulfill $240 million at the end of this year.

Meanwhile, some favorable policies as interest subsidy for import and export, logistic subsidy, etc. were granted to the enterprises to assist them with better financing condition and support their development accordingly. Furthermore, the county paid much attention on the support of labor force to make sure the processing trade enterprises to be settled down in the county for long term. Moreover, some green channels and more simplified procedures were handled out by the county to facilitate the enterprises with the most convenient working condition.
