It was reported a government delegation led by Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City visited Yongzhou, Shaoyang and Loudi city from December 4-5, 2013. Xiang stated that more experience of the three cities’ promotion of social and economic development should be learned by Chenzhou city and enhanced cooperation should be upgraded among the cities to accelerate Chenzhou city’s further development.

Yongzhou city is adjacent to Chenzhou city and is also in the demonstration area of south Hunan undertaking industrial transfer. After visiting some undertaking industrial transfer enterprises and listening to the introduction of its one billion yuan output value shoes cluster’s development, all the members stated that they would learn the experience of Yongzhou city’s investment attraction to speed up Chenzhou city’s improvement of undertaking industrial

Shaoyang city is the city with most population in Hunan province. In recent years, Shaoyang city paid much more attention on the promotion of projects construction, support of industrial development, improvement of infrastructure condition, deepening reform and opening up, and upgrading of well-being condition. During the trip to visit the city’s projects construction, all delegation members were impressed with great achievements of Shaoyang city on the promotion of major projects.

Loudi city is with the similar condition of Chenzhou city as the resource-oriented city. In recent years, it played much more efforts on the advanced equipment manufacturing, electronic information and modern logistics and other industries. The delegation members were shocked to witness the great development of the projects in Loudi economical technological development zone and learned more ideas there.

The delegation communicated with local government about its economic and social developments on every stop of their investigation trip. Qu Hai introduced Chenzhou city’s development condition and expressed Chenzhou city’s willing to strengthen the cooperation with the three cities. The three cities responded actively concerned for the cooperation issues.

Xiang Lili pointed out that all delegation members were impressed with the development of Yongzhou, Shaoyang and Loudi city. Due to the development of transition pilot of reform and opening up in 1980s’ and current demonstration area of south Hunan undertaking industrial transfer, closer cooperation was upgraded between Chenzhou and Yongzhou city. Shaoyang city formed its transportation structure for further development with freer minds. Loudi city carried out its projects construction on city, transportation, industries, etc. There were great potentials for further cooperation on major projects, economy and trade, correlative industries, tourism, and other aspects. Chenzhou city should learn more from the three cities to accelerate its development and figured out new year working plan accordingly.

Some municipal leaders of the three cities and some municipal leaders and relative departments’ principals of Chenzhou city accompanied Xiang and Qu with this investigation.
