It was reported that Standing Committee Conference of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee was held on December 10, 2013. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee hosted the conference. Spirit of eight session of tenth Hunan Provincial Congress of CPC and some relative conferences were conveyed on the conference. The key concern for the conference was acceleration of modern service industry which was emphasized as the significant strategy in future work.

It was stated that further study of the spirit of third session of the 18th National Congress of CPC should be carried out on the basis of Chenzhou city’s practical condition. Enhanced work should be handled out on the fulfillment of all annual tasks set in the beginning of 2013, on further reform and opening up, on reformation of key areas and points, etc.

Some working reports on the investigation trip to cities of Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Hunan province for their modern service industry development were delivered on the conference. It was pointed out that it is a stage for forceful promotion of modern service industry, so Chenzhou city should try its best to seize the chance of the state’s comprehensive promotion of modern service industry and carry out the transformation and upgrading of economy accordingly.

It was also stated on the conference that much more attention should be placed on the modern industries as modern logistic, cultural and tourism industry, modern finance, modern commerce and trade, science and information service, service outsourcing industry, modern manor economy, real estate, social services, and etc. It was purposely to form a modern industrial system with Chenzhou unique features.

It was pointed out that unified idea, scientific planning, more favorable policies and strengthened leadership, and enhanced propaganda work should be figured out to promote the development of modern service industry to upgrade Chenzhou city’s economic development.
