It was required on the enlarged meeting of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee

It was reported that an enlarged meeting of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee was held in Chenzhou city on December 19, 2013. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee hosted the conference. The key concerns for the conference were study of the “waste regulations for the Party and government administrative departments”, discussion of 2014 key projects and 2014 urban infrastructure construction projects.

It was stated on the conference that all the staffs and cadres of the Party and government’s departments should follow the requirements listed on “waste regulations for the Party and government administrative departments”to handle daily work. Chenzhou municipal discipline inspection and supervision departments should enhance the examination work to check foul plays and carry out strict punishment accordingly. 2014 New Year and Chinese Spring Festival are coming. All departments should make suitable arrangements for relative celebration work and strictly follow the regulations.

2014 is the last year for Chenzhou city’s “another three years for refulgence” project and also the 20-year anniversary for the establishment of Chenzhou municipal city. In order to handle out a sound investment and project construction work, more than 100 projects on infrastructure, industrial development, energy saving and environment protection, social development, etc. were figured out on the basis of careful discussion. It was pointed out on the conference, projects construction and investment should be strengthened in Chenzhou city for it was the top issue of economic work. No project, no essential development of society and economy. So, sound preliminary work should be handled out well to ensure the implementation of investment; strict responsibility system should be specified to perfect the coordination mechanism; and development environment should be optimized to attract more investment.

2014 is also the crucial year for “upgrading of Chenzhou city”. More than 200 urban infrastructure projects were figured out for 2014. It was stated on the conference, more efforts should be placed on seizing the chance of central government’s forceful promotion of urbanization to upgrade city’s undertaking function; more enhanced work should be handled out for the preliminary work of planning and project design to ensure the top quality and level of all the infrastructure projects; higher level ideas should be placed on the projects construction to promote the projects to be with top level and to be met the demonstration project standards; more social capitals were encouraged to be placed on the infrastructure construction to vary the investment ways; more attention should be placed on the well-being projects; more specified responsibility mechanism should be upgraded to promote the construction; and economic environment should be optimized to regulate the construction order.
