Qu Hai required on his investigation trip for the establishment of city of sports

It was reported that Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City took an investigation trip for the establishment of city of sports last weekend.

In order to enrich the cultural and sports life of the masses, all communities of Chenzhou urban area handled out the upgrading work for basketball court in 2013. The first batch of 13 basketball courts has been finished at the end of this November.

Qu Hai chatted with the players when he arrived at the basketball court of Nanling villa community and was learned that they were satisfied with this new court well.

Qu showed his basketball skill in this new court as well and required the staffs who were in charge of the management of this court to set the opening time scientifically by following the masses’ opinions.

When Qu played basketball with some residents of Sipuzhuang community’s court, he learned that it was not convenient for them to play basketball at night for lacking of light. Qu checked some more details with some relative staffs, and asked them to finish the installation and setting work of lighting circuit before New Year of 2014.

Qu also visited Fuquan community and Tonghui community to check the construction and upgrading issues of their basketball courts. Qu stated that public sports facility construction work was one of the key contents for Chenzhou city’s establishment of city of sports. All relative departments should try more efforts to propagandize the healthy life style and handle sound construction and management of the public sports facilities to grant the masses with sound sports condition.

Qu checked the reconstruction project of Chenzhou sports training base as well. On learning that it was still under the planning design and demonstration phase, Qu required that project owner should strengthen the communication with relative departments to figure out a scientific plan.

Some municipal leaders of Chenzhou city accompanied Qu with this investigation.
