It was learned from Guiyang County Grain Bureau that 6200 tons of grains were purchased by the county till the end of last November. The purchasing price was followed the minimum level of 135yuan/50kgs which was 10-15yuan higher than marketing price. Just this policy helped to increase farmers’ income as 19 million yuan and effectively promote the increase of both production and income of grain.

The grain marketing situation was not so good for Guiyang county in 2013 with a declining price. In order to promote the circulation of grain market and ease the difficulties of grain farmers, Guiyang county launched a minimum purchasing price plan for the intermediate-late grain on time. Some authorized purchasing agencies were set in the villages and towns to facilitate farmers to sell their grain and some warehouses were reserved for the storage of the grain accordingly. At the meantime, more strict supervision and inspection were handled out by Guiyang county to fight for the illegal behaviors which helped to protect farmers’ profit well.
