It was learned from Chenzhou Transportation Bureau that 2014 is the crucial year for Chenzhou city’s “three-year transportation construction project”. It was required to fulfill all targets set for the project and 14.5 billion yuan investment in 2014.

-- Further improvement on expressway construction with over 6.2 billion yuan investment. More local investment expressway projects should be accelerated on the practical condition that most Hunan provincial expressway projects were on final stage. It was estimated to finish 200 million yuan investment. More efforts should be tried on the improvement of Chishi bridge of Xiarong expressway to ensure its operation before the end of 2014. Better preparation work should be carried out for Sanna expressway and Guixin expressway to start the large-scale construction in this October. It was estimated to finish 6 billion yuan investment. More attention should be paid on Linlian expressway to accelerate its preparation work and try to start its construction before the end of 2014.

-- Further promotion of highway projects with an annual investment of over 3 billion yuan. More efforts should be paid on the continued construction projects. Better preparation work should be handled out for the new projects and more efforts should be tried to finish 50% roadbed construction and bridges projects before the end of this December.

--Further acceleration of rural roads construction with over 600 million yuan investment. It was estimated to build 603kms rural roads to upgrade the highway network rate to be 97% in Chenzhou city.

-- Further promotion of greening work for highways with over 500 million yuan investment. The greening work for 1584kms highways should be finished in 2014.

-- Further promotion of lighting projects with over 500 million yuan investment.

-- Further promotion of upgrading projects for highway maintenance with 300 million yuan investment. It was required to meet the target of 88.7% excellent rate for national and Hunan provincial roads, 54.9% excellent rate for ordinary new national and Hunan provincial roads, and 80% excellent rate for rural roads. At the meantime, 1500kms roads should be upgraded to be civilized roads.

-- Further promotion of local unplanned transportation projects construction with 2.5 billion yuan investment.

-- Fulfillment for other construction tasks set by Hunan provincial government with over 900 million yuan investment.
