It was learned from Zixing Municipal Statistics Bureau that its resident’s per capita deposit hit 26,000yuan in 2013, ranking the top place of Hunan province.

In recent years, focusing on the improvement of both city and people, Zixing city highlighted great attention on the economic development of industrial parks, landscapes, urban area and rural area, achieving great breakthroughs on social and economic development. More than 160 enterprises were settled down in the industrial parks of Zixing city by handling well on the establishment of “national economic development zone”, especially the investment attraction issues. 2000 job vacancies were available for the residents accordingly. At the meantime, better promotion was handled out by Zixing city to cultivate some more leisure industries, which helped to promote the development of some relative industries as transportation, catering, accommodation, etc. and provide more than 10,000 jobs for the residents. Rural leisure tourism was promoted rapidly that over 200 ones were established in Zixing city, enrolling 2000 employments to serve for the industry.

Furthermore, Zixing city placed more financial supports on rural area and agricultural industry, especially on manorial economy and family farms. Followed with the requirement to improve one special industry to every town and village, 20 million yuan were dispatched to the towns and villages as the guidance capital every year to promote the development of some advantageous industries as Dongjiang fish, Dongjiang fruits, Dongjiang tea, and etc. Some green agricultural tourism parks, demonstration parks of modern agriculture were constructed in Zixing city. Furthermore, great efforts were tried to cultivate the some professional cooperatives to promote industrial development. Till now, 33 scaled leading agricultural enterprises and 178 professional cooperatives were available in Zixing city, accounting for 8.5 billion yuan total agricultural processing out-put value. On the other hand, Zixing city placed more attention on the upgrading of people’s skills and acknowledges by handling some special trainings. Over 33,000 people were benefited from the training courses. Over 26,000 new employments were increased in Zixing city, which helped to increase Zixing city’s per capita deposit to more than 30,000yuan. According to the data, urban per capita disposable income and rural per capita net income were accounted to 23,980yuan and 11,930yuan in 2013, up 11% and 13.5% respectively.
