It was reported that a leading group conference for Chenzhou markets construction work was held in Chenzhou city on February 27, 2014. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, Mayor of Chenzhou City and Head of leading group of Chenzhou markets construction work hosted the conference and delivered a speech there.

It was introduced by the principal of Chenzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce that South Hunan Comprehensive Market, Hongjing International Logistic Center of Agricultural Products, Gaobi Comprehensive Market, Wanhua Motor City and South Hunan International Electrical and Building Material City were enrolled into municipal major projects list, which would be promoted rapidly.

Qu stated that though some achievements were obtained by Chenzhou city on the market transformation and construction, it was still far behind the requirements of city’s upgrading project, establishment of “national sanitary city”and development of social and economic development and also behind people’s expectation. So all departments should try best to conquer the difficulties and promote the markets construction, especially the promotion of the projects under construction.

Qu required that enhanced planning work should be carried out to promote the overall development; better supervision work should be handled to protect people’s right markets’functions should be confirmed scientifically to meet the demand of social development and people’s actual use; more efforts should be highlighted on the promotion of major projects to finish some in 2014; stricter responsibility system should be followed to take more active actions on the coordination among departments; enhanced projects scheduling work should be promoted to support the markets construction with best service and favorable policies; land requisition and demolishing work should be handled out well on the basis of relative polices to ensure the steady improvement of projects; better construction condition should be granted to the markets construction projects; market management should be enhanced by seizing the chance of establishment of “national sanitary city”and more attention should be placed on forming a long-term and efficient management mechanism at the very first steps of construction.
