It was learned from the working conference of Chenzhou financial work that deepening financial reform and innovation would be kept carrying out in Chenzhou city, especially on the reform and restructuring of rural credit cooperatives. It was purposely to ensure that Chenzhou Rural Commercial Bank can be inaugurated in first half year of 2014. Once succeed, it would become the first bank of Chenzhou city itself.

The organization and development work of Chenzhou Rural Commercial Bank was launched in 2011. It combined the rural credit cooperatives of Beihu and Suxian district together. Once finished, it would be helpful to play better local financial roles to expand the financing channels and spaces. At the meantime, the restructuring work for both Zixing city and Rucheng county’s rural credit cooperatives would be finished in 2014. Enhanced work was handled on the development of different new rural financial organizations in 2014 in Chenzhou city. It was purposely to reach the goal that all villages and towns would be covered with the rural banks in two years, which would be greatly helpful to provide financial service for “three-rural issues”.

It is a critical period for Chenzhou city’s industrial transformation and upgrading, so it is with strong demand of credit. In order to meet the capital demands of key areas, major industries and key points and play a multiplier effect of credit scales, high level targets were set for 2014’s financial work that 12 billion yuan new loans and over 20 billion yuan social financing capitals should be fulfilled in 2014.

It was introduced that scientific planning would be handled out in the layout of financial areas. “Medium and long term development plan of Chenzhou financial industry (2014-2020)” would be figured out accordingly. A financial institutions service center would be formed on the basis of core financial area of Wuling Square and folk financial street of Xiangxue road. At the meantime, more efforts would be tried on the establishment of financial ecological model city and innovative area of financial product to forge Chenzhou city to be a regional financial cluster center.
