It was reported that the evaluation group of second China's Aricultural Technology Innovation and Entreoreneurship Contest visited Hunan Jicaotang Co., Ltd. which entered the quarter-final sucessfully.

This contest was held by the State Ministry of Science and Technology and the State Ministry of Education. It was purposely to establish a platform which can moblize the finantial capitals to pay attention and investment on agrilculture and its industrilization, to establish a funds group which can be with concern on establishment of industrial and technoligal alliance of modern agriculture and support on modern agriculture development, to establish a regular communication platform for investment, and to promote the establishment of financing service system for agriculture technogy and its industrilization. At the meantime, it aimed to cultivate some talents teams which are willing to devote themselves on agriculture entrepreneuship, improve some high-tech agricultural enterprises, accelerate the integration of high technologies on modern agriculture, and promote the structure adjustment, optimization and upgrading of agriculture industry.

There is no money award for this contest, but fund investment and more favorable government policies would be granted to the excellent enterprises of the contest. The enterprises behaviored excellent in the quarter-final would be recorded into the project data base of the State Ministry of Science and Technology. The enterprises which entered the finals sucessfully would become the targets of the fund investment. The winner would be granted with the funds and also listed in the science and financing data base of alernative projects base of agricultural scientific and technological plan and the joint project data base of the State Ministry of Science and Technolgy and Gates Foundation. Furthermore, priority would be granted for the winners when they sumitted some projects to national plans. The talents who were with proprietary intellectual property rights, facilitated with core technologies, and belonged to talents in urgent need of the State were capable to share national favorable tablents policies. The projects which won the prize could be favored with the land, tax, entrepreneuship fund, protection of intellectual prperty and other favorable policies on their commercial promotion process of "one city, two zones, one hundred parks" project.

The second China's Aricultural Technology Innovation and Entreoreneurship Contest was launched in last July. 1725 enterprises competed for this contest. 11 enterprises were selected to join in this contest by Chenzhou city. Hunan Jicaotang Co., Ltd. was the exclusive one which entered the quarter-final sucessfully. This evaluation group visited the company to check its operation condition, financial affairs, and future development plans. 110 enterprises would be finalized to enter the finals after the group's investigation trips.
