It is a peak season to pick spring tea. When reporters arrived at the tea park of Donggangling, Luyangtown, Rucheng county, many workers were busy in picking the spring tea there. It was introduced that till now more than 1600kgs has been yielded from this organic tea garden where is with over ten-thousand mu area. 2600 employees were hired to work for this park. Some skillful workers can gain over 6000yuan per month. More merchants and skillful workers were attracted to gather there.

This organic ecological tea garden is located in Donggangling area of Rucheng county where covers 7 villages with 10,300mu area. It is just 2kms from the downtown, so transportation is very convenient. Due to its sound natural conditions as average elevation of 700 meters, annual average temperature of 16℃, average annual precipitation of 1546mm, deep soil layer, high organic content rate of 2.0-2.4%, favorable PH of 4.0-6.0, pollution free, picturesque scenery and so on, the tea industry can be developed well in this area.

In recent years, Luyang town seized the chance of regional development and poverty relief and development to improve the supporting industries energetically. Three powerful tea companies as Sanjianghe, Lvjinxiang and Songxi were introduced into the town to operate this organic tea garden. It was introduced this garden was operated with the agricultural standard requirements, multistoried planting management mode, and different business patterns. It was purposely to be forged as an organic tea garden with multi functions as sight viewing, leisure, experiencing, vacation, education, scientific demonstration, innovation of poverty relief method, and etc. Once finished, the annual output value of the tea garden would be over one hundred million. Over 6700 farmers’ families would be mobilized to join in this tea industry. Over 11,000 poverty stricken people would benefit from this industry with higher income.
