China’s Bismuth Forum Holds in Chenzhou City

It was reported that 2014 China’s Bismuth Forum was held in Chenzhou city on May 6, 2014. The insiders of bismuth industry across the county gathered here to share their ideas on the further development of bismuth industry.

 

According to the data, the explored bismuth resources reserve of Chenzhou city is 345,500tons, covering 50% of the world, 73% of China, and 90% of Hunan province and ranking the first place of China. 315,000tons of them were explored in Shizhuyuan polymetallic deposit, covering 91% of the total of Chenzhou city. It was the largest wolfram, molybdenum and bismuth deposit explored in the world under current situation.

 

The two main themes of this forum were “the strategic position and development strategies of China’s bismuth industry”and “further exploration of application market to promote the sustainable development”. The attendants shared their ideas and suggestions at the forum. Wang Qinhua- Vice-chairman of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and Chairman of Indium, Bismuth and Germanium Branch introduced the development condition of bismuth industry in China and abroad and presented some suggestions on the further development of bismuth industry. Wang said it was important for Chenzhou city’s bismuth industry in China even the world that it should be improved with higher end and green concept in future.

 

Zhang Aiguo- Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City attended this forum.
